Irma Rodriguez Moisa is running for a seat on the Whittier Union High School District’s Board of Trustees.

She is a supporter of accessible and competitive public education.

I am running for the WUHSD Board to:
(1) build on the foundation of academic excellence for our students;
(2) maximize student engagement to ensure equal access to educational programs; and
(3) provide support to our faculty and staff so they are best able to serve our students and families.

My husband and I have lived in Whittier since 1994 and have been champions of public education our

entire lives. We have been actively involved in our children’s educational programs at Ocean View, EWMS and La Serna and Whittier High Schools.

I am the Chief Operating Officer of my firm and have been an attorney for 30 years. I represent clients,

including educational entities, in their most complex issues and have received statewide recognition for

my legal work. I also serve on several non-profit boards. I earned a B.S. in Business Administration and

law degree from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University.

I will bring my experience as a parent, businessperson, and attorney to make decisions that will positively

impact students, staff and the community. I would be honored and excited to serve as Area 4 Trustee.
